Melvin James Ferebee III Esq. is also the Principal Attorney of The Ferebee Group PLLC, a full-service business law firm in Houston, Texas. A native Virginian, Melvin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from the College of William and Mary. After college, Melvin spent almost a decade in hospitality management before proceeding to earn his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law.
Melvin represents a broad base of clients in complex corporate and securities law transactions, real estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, Melvin cultivates a niche practice representing sports and entertainment clients in offerings of debt and equity securities, venture capital, private placement, and other transactional matters, including advising on corporate finance, which includes equity and preferred equity investments.
In his free time, Melvin is a devoted husband, loving father of five, adjunct professor, real estate developer, and film financier.
